The beautiful St Nectan's Glen is a sacred site at Trethevy, very near to Tintagel where Uncle Roly now lives. This beautiful spot of both sanctity and the conservation of the natural world is of huge importance.

It has, in it's history, not only the distinction of being visited by Queen Victoria herself and the novelist Charles Dickens but it may be the place where the Blessed Nectan had a cell of solitude. Himself being possibly the brother in law of the warlord who became known as King Arthur.

It is also a place of great natural beauty and the owners are busy ensuring the glen remains protected and preserved.

Uncle Roly helps as Head of Research to the project. All the sales of his books and audio books go to the glens upkeep.

The glen is not only important as a site of sacred/historical interest but also as an astonishing example of how it is possible to maintain an area of outstanding natural beauty whilst preserving the natural ecology of the area for future generations.

'Nectan's' is open to the public and groups are more than welcome to come and visit this astonishing space.

“Love nature, love Saint Nectan's Glen”.
